This is my boyfriend’s favorite book and I’ve been dragging my feet in reading it because I’m afraid I won’t like it…

Update: Finally finished this after one and half years. I can see why it is so well regarded but I’m not sure this one is for me. I liked the parallel between what was happening to Charlie and the natural aging process every one of us goes through. I think I’m going to leave this one unrated. It was definitely evocative but I don’t know if that’s a good thing.
